All personal information is kept strictly confidential and cannot be used outside the Australian Stroke Clinical Registry. Information is stored in a specially designed password protected database which can only be accessed by a small number of approved Australian Stroke Clinical Registry staff who have a security password to open the database.
Once your information is entered into the Australian Stroke Clinical Registry, it will be given a unique identification number for analysis. This means that your name will not be identified in any reports that are produced, and your privacy and confidentiality will be maintained.
